Design of Electric Hoist, Capacity 250 kg
Otevřel, Marek ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
That bachelor's thesis describes the design of electric hoist. Select electric drive of hoist, manual drive of carriage and rope hoist drive is achieved simple design for easy production. There is a description of particular parts, control calculations of parts and basic drawing documentation in that thesis.
Differential tackles
Mahel, Pavel ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and strength calculation of self-locking differential hoist. The hoist will have a lifting capacity of 450 kg, the maximum lifting height will be 9750 mm. After selecting a suitable type of differential hoist, the construction of individual parts follows. Furthermore, the work deals with the calculation of pulleys and self-locking assessment. Then the stressed parts of the chain block are checked. The work is accompanied by drawing documentation.
Lifting equipment for a tractor
Smrček, Jakub ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
Main aim of bachelor’s thesis is mechanical design of tractor attached telescopic loader crane used for moving materials. Introductory part of the thesis contains description of lifting equipment for tractors that are actualy produced. Main part of thesis is focused on design of loading crane itself. Whole design is based on strength and control calculations of choosed areas of the loader. At the end are drawings of whole assembly and components of developed telescopic tractor loader.
Technology design for screw connection for extreme loads
Václavek, Jan ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Screw connections are a commonly used method of joining two or more components that are loaded with different types of loads during their operation. Screw connections are in some cases extremely stressed. The topic of the bachelor thesis is the introduction of potential types of extreme load on a screw connection and acquaintance with a specific case of an extremely stressed screw connection. A design of the production process is created for the discussed case and the manufactured components are evaluated in terms of assembly and service life.
Design of electric tackle
Hovádek, Pavel ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
Bachelor’s labour id concerned about design and construction electrical TACKLE with hand carriage travel. It contains retrieval part of present knowledge, multiple choice selection and mathematical calculation. Work also contains project drawings.
Hook assembly with motorized rotating hook load capacity 20 tons
Procházka, Tomáš ; Nezbeda, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a crane hook block with a capacity of 20 tons with two guiding and one equalizing roller for handling sheet metal coils. The work includes the calculation and design of the elements and strength calculations of individual parts. Part of the work is the drawings of the given assemblies.
Conceptual design of bridge crane 50 tonne
Soukup, Lumír ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Kubín, Martin (advisor)

Work content proposal of crane runway girder, travelling wheel, rail and in calculators part is proposal of parts of traveling crab like the drum, guide and balancing pulley, cable, hook, wheels, whels bearing, travelling wheel, drive of traveling crab. In work is assembly drawing and production drawing of drum.
Optimalization of hanger design in petrochemical industry
Horsák, Libor ; Vejvoda, Stanislav (referee) ; Nekvasil, Richard (advisor)
Master’s thesis, „Optimization of hanger design in petrochemical industry heaters”, describes a procedure and means, leading to better hanger design in various cases. The thesis describes several problems which are necessary to be solved in hanger design. Technical expertise is executed on hangers of various designs. The procedure of optimization is shown on one chosen hanger design.
Function of the AtKUP5 transporter in Arabidopsis thaliana
Štočková, Hana ; Tylová, Edita (advisor) ; Hála, Michal (referee)
Potassium is one of the essential elements necessary for plant growth. It is involved in many plant processes, such as osmoregulation, enzymes activaton, etc. These functions are very often closely related to its transport in the cell and the whole plant. Although potassium is abundant in earth's crust, the mount of plant-available form is often insufficient. Potassium deficiency manifests itself on many levels and also contributes to the reduction of yield and quality of agricultural crops. There are many of potassium-transporting proteins in the plant. One of the important families of potassium transporters is the KT/HAK/KUP family. This family includes, among others, the high-affinity transporter HAK5, which is key for the uptake of potassium from the environment with low-potassium availability. One of the not very characterized transporters from the KT/HAK/KUP family is the KUP5 transporter, which I deal with in my diploma thesis. The aim of this work is to analyze the phenotypic manifestations of kup5 T-DNA insertion mutants and to characterize the functions of the transporter KUP5 in Arabidopsis thaliana plants. I analyzed the growth of kup5 insertion mutants in various environmental conditions and performed plant transformation to determine the localization of the KUP5 transporter in the...
Transporters KT/HAK/KUP - role in plant development and response to environmental conditions
Doležalová, Barbora ; Tylová, Edita (advisor) ; Hála, Michal (referee)
Potassium is an essential element, which is important in many plant processes. It functions as a major osmotic and is involved in the regulation of turgor during cell growth or stomatal movements. It is also important for maintaining membrane potencial. In plants, potassium transporters from the KT/HAK/KUP family are involved in the transport of K+ . Some of them are important in the uptake of K+ from the enviroment (HAK5, KUP7), others in regulation of cell turgor (KUP2, KUP6, KUP8). In Arabidopsis thaliana, less characterized KT/HAK/KUP transporters include KUP5 and KUP9, which I studied in this diploma thesis. In this diploma thesis, I analyzed the growth phenotype of kup5 mutant plants. The results show that kup5 mutant plants are not more sensitive to K+ deficiency than wild-type plants, therefore KUP5 is probably not involved in the K+ uptake from the enviroment. Kup5 mutant plants were larger than wild-type plants, had larger root and hypocotyl cells as well as longer root meristematic zone. This growth phenotype suggests that KUP5 is involved in the regulation of cell growth, probably through turgor regulation. Using the pKUP5::KUP5-GFP construct, the KUP5 protein was localized in the ER, but this localization needs further verification. Using the pKUP5:GUS construct, KUP5 expression was...
